a hardware computer processor that controls at least one of a mechanical component and electrical component of a building, the processor configured to identify patterns among data points provided by one or more building sensors, annotating the patterns using contextual attributes that affect building operational parameters, and automatically extracting the rule based on a real-time building context, wherein the hardware computer processor operates the at least one mechanical component and electrical component based on the extracted rule.
