The disclosed liquid ejection head 2 comprises an ejection hole surface 31a in which a plurality of nozzles 8 for ejecting a liquid are opened. The ejection hole surface has a nozzle arrangement region 7 which is a region in which the plurality of nozzles 8 are arranged. Each nozzle 8 has an inversely tapered section 8b, the cross-sectional area of which increases toward the ejection hole surface 31a. A first nozzle 8-1, which is one of the nozzles 8, is arranged in a central section 7a, in a predetermined direction, of the nozzle arrangement region 7. A second nozzle 8-2, which is one of the nozzles 8, is arranged in each of end sections 7b on both sides in said predetermined direction. When the width of the inversely tapered section 8b as viewed from the ejection hole surface 31a side is T, the width T of the inversely tapered section of the first nozzle 8-1 is greater than the width T of the inversely tapered section of the second nozzles 8-2. On the ejection hole surface 31a in the nozzle arrangement region 7, the central section 7a in said predetermined direction is convexly shaped with respect to the end sections 7b on both sides in said predetermined direction. |
