Provided are: a filter cigarette exhibiting excellent visibility even in dark places; and a cigarette package for accommodating said filter cigarette. This filter cigarette (1) is provided with: a rolled tobacco portion (2) including shredded tobacco (21), and a rolling paper (22) for rolling the outer circumference of the shredded tobacco; a filter (4) connected to the rolled tobacco portion via a tip paper (3); and a luminescent part (5) provided to the filter.
