摘要 Provided are an ETFE copolymer and a resin material for electric wire coating that make it possible to form a sheathing layer having excellent resistance to stress cracking under high temperatures as well as a high heat resistance temperature, and an electric wire having a sheathing layer having excellent resistance to stress cracking under high temperatures as well as a high heat resistance temperature. A copolymer comprising structural units derived from ethylene, structural units derived from tetrafluoroethylene, and structural units derived from a third monomer, the ratio (L/H) of the proportion (L: area%) of components having an elution temperature of 190-200°C to the proportion (H: area%) of components having an elution temperature of 205°C or higher on an elution curve of the copolymer as obtained by temperature rising elution fractionation and the proportion (M: mol%) of structural units derived from the third monomer to all structural units of the copolymer satisfy the relationship log(L/H)/M≧0.90.
