Further, this method may, for example, include executing a plug in having a send money function, the plug in associated with the Internet-utilizing application, the send money function executed due, in part, to a signal received from an input device. The method may additionally include generating a payment request identifying a recipient of funds by the e-mail address selection.

1. A non-transitory computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon that are executable by a processor of a computer system to cause the computer system to perform operations comprising:
displaying, within an application running on the computer system, a graphical user interface to a user; in response to detecting that an email address is shown on the graphical user interface, accessing a software add-on component comprising stored instructions executable to provide add-on functionality not present in the application as originally installed on the computer system; based on detecting a user input command made relative to a location of the email address on the graphical user interface, generating, via the software add-on component, a graphical command overlay on the graphical user interface, wherein the graphical command overlay includes a graphical region selectable by the user to directly cause display of a funds transfer interface that allows a transfer of funds to be made from the user to the email address; receiving, via the graphical command overlay, user input indicating a selection of the graphical region; and responsive to the selection, facilitating a transfer of funds from the user to the email address.
