The invention relates to a plug (1) for a fluid coupling including an attachment sleeve (11) to be fitted onto a coupling (2), the sleeve (11) extending about a central longitudinal axis (13), the sleeve (11) comprising, on the inner surface thereof and at a first end, a tapped portion (12) to be used for engaging with a mating threaded portion (20) formed on the outer surface of a coupling (2) with a view to screwing/unscrewing same by rotation about a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis (13), characterised in that the tapped portion (12) includes at least one recess (116) parallel to the longitudinal axis (13), projecting along a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axis (13), the at least one recess (116) intersecting with the circle having the smallest diameter of the tapping (12), and in that the inner surface of the sleeve (11) includes, at a second end opposite the first end, a pin (14) extending into the sleeve (11) in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis (13) toward the second end of the sleeve (11) until a free end (15) located between the first and second ends of the sleeve (11), said free end (15) of the pin (14) being provided such as to form a protective cover for a surface of the coupling to be used for engaging with a filling tool. |
