An internal combustion engine using water as auxiliary power includes an engine body (1) and a sprinkler system (2). The sprinkler system (2) includes a sprinkler motor (22) and a water spray nozzle (21) connected to the outlet of the sprinkler motor (22), and one end of the water spray nozzle (21) is arranged within a combustion chamber (11) of the engine body (1). By the use of high temperature in the combustion chamber due to the operation of the engine body, atomized water absorbs intense heat and becomes water vapor with its volume expanding to more than 1700 times of its original volume (the higher the temperature, the greater the volume expansion ratio); the resulting strong pressure is used as engine thrust and produce expansive high pressure power via an instantaneous gasification like explosion of fuel, using water liquid as a liquid fuel under special circumstance to achieve new kinetic energy, making the engine output power comprise main power (such as gas, hydrogen, gasoline, oil for jet plane … etc.) and auxiliary power (water). The engine has greater output power than existing engines, and reduces waste of heat, making a significant contribution to the green environmental protection. |
