A composition for detecting a latent fingerprint according to the present invention comprises a 2-cyanoacrylate compound and a silicone oil, wherein the content of the silicone oil is 700 to 9000 parts by mass wherein the content of the 2-cyanoacrylate compound is 100 parts by mass. The composition for detecting a latent fingerprint according to the present invention can additionally contain a fluorescent dye, a stabilizer and the like.
