A male connector having outer fasteners, comprising a housing (1) and a plastic core (2) arranged within the housing. Locking fasteners (3) are arranged at either side of the plastic core. The locking fasteners are metal flexible pieces. The locking fasteners are connected at one extremity to the plastic core and extend out of the housing at the other extremity of the plastic core. Also, inverted protrusions (31) are provided at the extremities of the locking fasteners extending out of the housing. A terminal base (4) is arranged within the plastic core. The terminal base comprises a plastic base (41) and terminals (42) embedded in the plastic base. Multiple of the terminals are provided; both the front and rear extremities thereof extend out of the plastic base. The front extremities of the terminals are flat arches in shape. A bus cable (5) is fitted at the rear extremities of the terminals. An insertion pad (6) is arranged below the front extremity of the bus cable. The rear extremities of the terminals press tight against the front extremity of the bus cable. The male connector having the outer fasteners provides reliable connection and high communication quality. |
