With the energy treatment system, on the basis of a determination by the determination unit that the vicinity of the subject to be treated is not filled with the liquid, a control unit carries out an interruption of the output of the drive current from the output unit and/or an alert that the vicinity of the subject to be treated is not filled with the liquid.
