The invention relates to an adjustable camshaft (1), comprising an inner shaft (10) and a tubular outer shaft (11), wherein the inner shaft (10) is rotatably accommodated in the tubular outer shaft (11) and wherein adjustable cam elements (12, 13, 14, 15) are rotatably arranged on the outer shaft (11), which adjustable cam elements are connected to the inner shaft (10) for conjoint rotation, and wherein a phase adjustment device (16) is arranged at an end of the inner shaft (10) and at an end of the outer shaft (11), by means of which phase adjustment device the phase position of the inner shaft (10) can be adjusted in relation to the phase position of the outer shaft (11) about a camshaft axis (17). According to the invention, the inner shaft (10) has at least one material reinforcement region (18) for mechanical reinforcement in the region adjoining the phase adjustment device (16), by means of which mechanical reinforcement the vibrational behavior of the adjustable camshaft can be influenced. |
