The present invention relates to a binder composition, a slurry composition, and a method for coating the surface of a metal with a superabsorbent polymer. According to the present invention, there are advantages of enabling the superabsorbent polymer to be uniformly coated on the surface of a metal since a low viscosity state can be maintained even if a high quantity of a superabsorbent polymer is contained in a slurry composition, and enabling the superabsorbent polymer to be applied in various fields since desorption does not occur even if humidifying-drying cycles are carried out several times during coating.
