A self-learning method for an air conditioner and the air conditioner. The method comprises: in a specific time period, if the time during which an air conditioner is used continuously exceeds a certain threshold, recording variable parameters of the air conditioner during the time period (S101); calculating the number of uses in which combinations of the variable parameters are identical (S102); and setting the variable parameters in the combination of variable parameters being used the most number of times as preset variable parameters for using the air conditioner in the time period (S103). |
