The present invention relates to a distillation system and a distillation method thereof. The distillation system according to the present invention separates mixed components, present in supplied raw materials, into high volatility components and low volatility components by using a boiling point difference therebetween, and comprises: an evaporation separator which evaporates the high volatility components to discharge the same as overhead vapor; a first compressor which receives the discharged overhead vapor and adiabatically compresses the same; an evaporator which receives the adiabatically compressed overhead vapor, performs heat exchange between the compressed overhead vapor and the water supplied from a water supply source, and then evaporates the water into vapor; and a second compressor which receives the evaporated vapor and compresses the same. Therefore, provided are a distillation system and a distillation method thereof, which are capable of increasing the amount of saturated vapor by means of compressing the overhead vapor before the overhead vapor is introduced into the evaporator and then generating the saturated vapor by using the condensed latent heat of the compressed overhead vapor, thereby reducing distillation costs. |
