An outer fastener-type male connector comprising a connector housing (1), a cable, and a plastic core (2) arranged within the connector housing (1). One metal flexible-piece locking fastener element (4) is arranged respectively on either side of the plastic core (2). One extremity of the metal flexible-piece locking fastener element (4) is fixedly connected to the plastic core (2). The other extremity of the metal flexible-piece locking fastener element (4) integrally forms an inverted engaging hook (41). The plastic core (2) is connected to an insertion pad (3). The front extremity of the cable is a docking extremity. The docking extremity is affixed to the plastic core (2) and is pressed tight by the insertion pad (3) against the plastic core (2). With one metal flexible-piece locking fastener element (4) being arranged respectively on either side of the plastic core (2), the present outer fastener-type male connector cannot be unplugged freely once inserted into a female connector and engaged within grooves on either side of the female connector. The present solution employs an affixed-line structure, obviates the need for stamping terminals, obviates work processes such as terminal stamping, electroplating, and assembly, and, with the docking extremity of the cable being cut with a jig, affixed onto the plastic core (2), and pressed tight using the insertion pad (3), is highly reliable and inexpensive. |
