The invention relates to solid dye preparations, containing: (a) starch having a grain size d50 in the range of 3 to 20 µm; (b) silicic acid having a grain size d50 in the range of 10 to 80 µm; (c) silicic acid having a grain size d50 in the range of 80 to 140 µm; (d) sodium chloride having a grain size d50 in the range of 6 to 25 µm; (e) dyes, and (f) fragrances and/or flavorings with the provisos that the fragrances and/or flavorings contain (i) at least 15 wt% water, and (ii) with respect to the total composition, that at least 70 wt% of all particles have a maximum grain size of 63 µm.
