This sound-volume adjustment apparatus is provided with: a sound acquisition unit that is mounted on a moving object on which a person rides and that acquires sound around the moving object; a storage unit that stores, as sound data, the sound acquired by the sound acquisition unit; a calculation unit that calculates, using the sound data, a temporal change in the volume of sound acquired from a predetermined time ago until the present; a sound-volume setting unit that sets, on the basis of the calculation result from the calculation unit, the volume of sound to be output as a notification; and a notification unit that sends the notification at the volume set by the sound-volume setting unit. |
