There is disclosed a decorative panel member comprising: a plurality of elongate threads arranged to extend in a substantially parallel manner to define a length of the panel, each elongate thread comprising one or more blades mounted together, each blade being formed from a sheet of material cut to form a substantially sinusoidal wave pattern comprising a series of peaks separated by troughs; and a plurality of truncated connector segments mountable to extend between a pre-determined group of elongate threads in a direction orthogonal to a length of the elongate threads, each truncated connector segment comprising one or more blades mounted together, each blade being formed from a sheet of material cut to form a substantially sinusoidal wave pattern comprising a series of peaks separated by troughs, each connector segment being configured to pass over and under the defined group of the blades in an alternative manner and having a joint formed on at least one end thereof; wherein, each of the pre-determined groups of elongate threads are connected together by connecting the plurality truncated connector segments of one pre-determined group of elongate threads at their joints to the plurality truncated connector segments of a neighbouring pre-determined group of elongate threads. ~$LIA % |
