A wireless terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a control unit that controls traffic steering from an E-UTRAN to a WLAN or from the WLAN to the E-UTRAN in accordance with a first format and/or a second format. In the first format, the control unit controls the traffic steering by supplementing the E-UTRAN. In the second format, the control unit controls the traffic steering in accordance with an instruction from the E-UTRAN. The wireless terminal is further provided with a reception unit that, in the first format, receives, from the E-UTRAN, first supplementary information used to determine whether the wireless terminal is implementing the traffic steering. The first supplementary information is broadcasted via the E-UTRAN. The reception unit receives a WLAN measurement setting that the wireless terminal uses for the WLAN measurement. |
