The invention relates to a partially or fully continuous process for the preparation of branched organopolysiloxanes from chlorosilanes via two stages by reaction with alcohol and water to the desired degree of condensation, wherein the entire process does not require the use of additional organic solvent and does not produce any waste water. According to the invention, the process is particularly suitable for the controlled, gelation-free condensation of very reactive chlorosilanes or chlorosilane mixtures.
