A code-based method for adjusting a fan and the fan. The method comprises: recording variable parameters of a fan preset by a user and matching codes corresponding to the variable parameters; when the user inputs a code, detecting whether or not there is a variable parameter matching the code; if yes, then adjusting the fan to operate in the state of the variable parameter matching the code; and if not, keeping the fan unchanged. The method allows, once the fan is adjusted by the user to the most comfortable state, the fan to be easily adjusted back to the most comfortable state even after being adjusted separately by another person. |
