A contact-maintaining unit of the valve opening and closing apparatus is disposed between the rocker arm and the eccentricity-creating unit so as to maintain the contact between the cam and the rocker arm when the cam is rotating. |

1. A valve opening and closing apparatus for an engine comprising:
a rocker arm in contact with a cam, the rocker arm configured to open and close a valve upon a rotation of the cam; an eccentricity-creating unit disposed on the rocker arm, the eccentricity-creating unit configured to change an eccentric position upon a rotation of a rotary shaft of the eccentricity-creating unit; and a contact-maintaining unit disposed between the rocker arm and the eccentricity-creating unit, wherein the contact-maintaining unit is configured to maintain a contact between the cam and the rocker arm when the cam is rotating. |
