1. A method of making a dirt pick-up resistant coating composition, the method comprising:
providing a water-based coating composition comprising:
a water-dispersible polymer in an aqueous solvent; anda non-VOC UV absorber capable of absorbing UV radiation within a range of 240 to 400 nm; and mixing the water-dispersible polymer with the UV absorber in an amount sufficient to produce a coating composition with improved dirt pick-up resistance relative to a conventional coating composition, based on ΔE values. |
