In order to enable insulation of the surface of battery cells at low cost and simplify the insulating structure between battery cells while maintaining the battery cells and a fastening member in an insulated state, this power supply device is provided with: a plurality of battery cells (1) that have a rectangular external form; a separator (2) that is linked to the battery cells (1) and at least partially covers the surface of the battery cells (1); and a fastening member for fastening a stacked battery body obtained by stacking a plurality of the battery cells (1), which are covered by the separator (2), such that the main surfaces face each other. The separator (2) is provided with: a main plate portion (20) being formed of an insulating member that undergoes elastic deformation and covering the main surface of the battery cell (1) that is disposed facing said portion (20); a box-shaped cover portion being provided in a first surface (20A)-side bottom portion of the main plate portion (20) and covering the bottom surface of the battery cell (1) which is inserted into said cover portion; and a corner cover portion (22) being provided in a first surface (20A)-side top portion of the main plate portion (20) and covering the corners of the top surface of the battery cell (1). |
