PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always reduce "blackening" without increasing cost.SOLUTION: An entire control arithmetic section outputs a node signal corresponding to potential of FD on at least one row to a signal line before an electric charge is transferred from PD to FD. The entire control arithmetic section transfers the electric charge from PD to FD, outputs a pixel signal corresponding to the potential of FD to the signal line as a read signal, reads all the rows, obtains a black level reference value of an image on the basis of a black level signal which is read from an OB pixel in the read signals and corrects the read signal which is read from a light reception pixel in accordance with the black level reference value. The entire control arithmetic section determines whether the black level signal is to be used for calculating the black level reference value or not in accordance with the node signal. |
