PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead battery in which a short circuit is not generated, even if distance between electrode plates is shortened.SOLUTION: A lead battery in which an electrode plate group is formed by laminating alternatively via a separator, a plurality of positive electrode plates having active material including lead dioxide in a grid made of lead alloy and a plurality of negative electrode plates having active material including metallic lead in a grid made of lead alloy, and is housed in a battery case and immersed in an electrolyte. The separator has a bag shape and houses the negative electrode plates. The electrolyte includes an Li ion of 0.02 mol/L or more and 0.2 mol/L or less. |
