PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging member of an electrophotographic device, which can be suitably used for a high-speed high durability electrophotographic device or the like by reducing a stick slip.SOLUTION: The charging member includes a conductive substrate 201 and a conductive elastic layer 202, in which the conductive elastic layer is formed by using multi-hollow particles 203 and at least one rubber selected from an acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, ethylene propylene diene rubber and epichlorohydrin rubber. The hollow particles are formed by using at least one resin selected from an acrylic resin, styrene resin, acrylonitrile resin, vinylidene chloride resin, vinyl chloride resin. At least a part of the multi-hollow particles are exposed from the conductive elastic layer; and recesses derived from hollow portions of the multi-hollow particles are disposed on the conductive elastic layer surface. |
