PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for heat recovery which uses a ceramic case, detects the damage of the ceramic case, and continues the operation for a while if the damage is considered minor.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger for heat recovery 3 is used for recovering heat from a combustion exhaust gas containing a corrosive gas to a fluid and includes: a passage member 4 in which the fluid flows; and a ceramic case 5 which covers the passage member 4 so as to form a clearance space 6 between itself and the passage member 4 and is exposed to the combustion exhaust gas. The clearance space 6 is filled with a gas having a pressure higher than a pressure of the combustion exhaust gas. |
