PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a beam blank cast slab from advancing while bent, in continuous casing of the beam blank cast slab.SOLUTION: Molten steel 3 is poured into a flange part of an inside space of a casting mold 4 for casting beam blank. A beam blank cast slab 2 is formed by cooling the molten steel 3 by supplying cooling water to the casting mold 4, and the cast slab 2 is extracted while being supported by guide rolls 11, and the beam blank cast slab 2 is continuously cast. Both flange surface positions of the beam blank cast slab 2 are measured on the downstream side A in the casing direction on and after a solidification completion position 10 of the beam blank cast slab 2. A cooling water quantity is adjusted so that an extraction heat quantity becomes larger in a part of the casting mold 4 contacted with a flange surface and approaching the center line, than a part of the casting mold 4 contacted with the flange surface and separating from the center line of a continuous casting machine 1. |
