PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic boom follow-up device of a work machine, for reducing the possibility of damaging in falling, and being wide in an operable range, in the automatic boom follow-up device of the work machine capable of executing crane operation, without making an operator conscious of the positional relationship between oneself and a crane.SOLUTION: In this automatic boom follow-up device, a remote controller 10 transmits an ultrasonic wave and time information when transmitting this ultrasonic wave. A crane body side 20 receives the ultrasonic wave by two reception parts 23 and 24, and receives the transmitted time information. An automatic boom follow-up control device 22 on the crane body side 20 determines XY coordinates of the remote controller 10 based on a calculation distance between the remote controller 10 and the two reception parts 23 and 24 from a time difference between the transmitted time information and time information when receiving the ultrasonic wave, and sends a movement command based on its coordinates to a control part of a crane body, and thereby follows up and moves a tip position of a boom to a sky position of the remote controller 10. |
