PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled cleaner with fewer cleaning failures of a floor surface, and to provide a self-propelled cleaner with excellent cleaning efficiency.SOLUTION: A self-propelled cleaner includes: a body which is provided with a dust suction port on a bottom surface and has a drive wheel that rolls on a floor surface; a dust suction port angle change means provided at the body, and changing an angle in the longitudinal direction of the dust suction port with respect to the rolling direction of the drive wheel; and a control means controlling the dust suction port angle change means so as to optimize the angle in the longitudinal direction of the dust suction port with respect to the rolling direction of the drive wheel. By providing the control means for controlling the dust suction port angle change means so as to optimize the angle in the longitudinal direction of the dust suction port with respect to the rolling direction of the drive wheel, the dust suction port is allowed to reach a narrow space such as the corner part of the floor surface, and cleaning failures is reduced. Further, the need of repeatedly changing the moving direction of the body and moving forward and backward is eliminated, and cleaning efficiency can be improved. |
