PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which has improved reliability in detecting a user's gripping of a grip part and moreover has a superior operability.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes: a vacuum cleaner body in which a blower is housed; a hard grip part 28 which a user grips; an on/off sensor 42 which detects whether the user grips the grip part 28, through contact of the user and which is provided in the grip part 28; and a control means which controls driving of a blower when the on/off sensor 42 detects that the user grips the grip part 28. |
