PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchange type reactor that is excellent in efficiency of heat exchange between an absorption material compact and a heat medium, and improves reaction speed of adsorption-desorption reaction of an adsorbate to an adsorption material.SOLUTION: A heat exchange type reactor includes: a housing 22 in which a reaction chamber 24 capable of storing an adsorption material compact and a heat medium flow passage 26 in which a heat medium flows are alternately arranged; and adsorption material compacts 32A and 32B that is stored in the reaction chamber 24, has a heat transfer surface S performing heat exchange with the heat medium, and contains an adsorption material that discharges heat when an adsorbate is adsorbed and that stores heat when the adsorbate is desorbed and a fibrous heat conductive material whose axial direction crosses with respect to the heat transfer surface. |
