PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure twist molding machine which can apply a high pressure onto a raw material.SOLUTION: A high pressure twist molding machine is equipped with: a pair of metal molds 51, 52; a pressure cylinder 4 which has a cylindrical part 41 and a slide part 42, and applies a compression stress onto a raw material; rotation means 8 which rotates the slide part 42 and applies a shear stress onto the raw material. One metal mold 51 is fixed to the slide part 42. The rotation means 8 is equipped with: a main gear 81 which is provided concentrically with the slide part 42; a pinion gear 82 engaging with the main gear 81; and a motor 83 which is fixed to a slide 6 and rotates the pinion gear 82. The slide part 42 is rotated by driving the motor 83, whereby the one metal mold 51 can be rotated, and consequently, a slide bearing for supporting the metal mold 51 is not required and a high pressure can be applied onto the raw material. |
