PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously inform a user of conditions for effectively applying a specific process.SOLUTION: A controller 14 of an imaging apparatus 1 discriminates whether an image captured by an imaging unit 11 is appropriate for a blurring process, on the basis of the relation between a main subject region and a background region composed of the other regions in the captured image. If discriminating the captured image to be inappropriate for the blurring process, the controller 14 of the imaging apparatus 1 displays blurring condition information representing conditions for capturing an image appropriate for the blurring process, in association with a live view image displayed on a display 12. |
