PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sticking efficiency of a label by shortening a sticking cycle of the label, by cutting the frontmost label without stopping in the middle.SOLUTION: A belt-like label continuous body LA without a layout sheet in which labels L are arranged in a plurality of rows, is transferred in the row direction of the labels L, and the frontmost label L is cut by a perforation M as a boundary from the label L at the subsequent position to the frontmost label L. This cut frontmost label L is sucked by a suction plate 10; the frontmost label L is stuck to an article by advancing the suction plate 10; and the frontmost label L is sucked to the suction plate 10 without being cut. The suction plate 10 is provided with a cutting member 31 for cutting a part of the side end side of the perforation M related to cutting by projecting from the suction plate 10 before or during the advance of the suction plate 10, and the residual perforation M related to the cutting is cut by making external force act on the frontmost label L by the advance of the suction plate 10. |
