PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skelp head manufacturing device for surely manufacturing a head in a desired shape on a tip part of a skelp before charged in a heating furnace without a manual operation by an operator in manufacturing of a forge-welded tube.SOLUTION: A skelp head manufacturing device 200 manufactures a head of a tip part of a skelp at a step before charging the skelp into a heating furnace when manufacturing a forge-welded tube. The skelp head manufacturing device 200 includes a plurality of molding rolls 1, 2, and 3 for performing bending processing of both end parts in a width direction of the tip part of the skelp by sandwiching the skelp S between top rolls 1a, 2a, and 3a and bottom rolls 1b, 2b, and 3b. Both end parts in the width direction of the tip part of the skelp are folded to a lower side to form a folded portion by roll forming using the molding rolls 1, 2, and 3 while moving the tip part of the skelp in arrangement directions of the plurality of molding rolls 1, 2, and 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
