PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a high electrode capacity per unit volume and a high electrode capacity per unit mass of active material, and excellent charge/discharge cycle characteristics, and to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the same, and a method of manufacturing the electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.SOLUTION: The electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having an electrode mixture containing an active material capable of absorbing and desorbing lithium consists of sintered compact of a mixture of the electrode mixture and aluminum powder, and the aluminum powder is bound each other. A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the same, and a manufacturing method therefor are also provided. |
