PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for conveying a long workpiece that convey the long workpiece from a material supply table to a workpiece conveyance path in an oblique front direction, and a long workpiece processing apparatus.SOLUTION: A long workpiece carry-in method for carrying in a long workpiece along a workpiece conveyance path in a front and rear direction that is disposed on a rear side of a workpiece processing machine, includes the steps of: lifting a long workpiece in a position adjacent to a workpiece conveyance path 11, out of a plurality of long workpieces on a material supply table 21 disposed at a side of the workpiece conveyance path 11; holding the long workpiece in a state parallel to the conveyance path 11 and conveying the workpiece obliquely forward approaching a workpiece processing machine 1 when conveying the lifted long workpiece in a workpiece conveyance path 11 direction, and conveying the long workpiece to an upper position of the workpiece conveyance path 11; and lowering the long workpiece on the workpiece conveyance path 11. When the long workpiece W is lowered on the workpiece conveyance path 11, the long workpiece W is positioned within a nipping region of a vice device 3 disposed in the workpiece processing machine 1. |
