The invention relates to an energy store, to a power plant having such an energy store, and to a method for operating the energy store. The energy store has a heat exchanger, which is arranged on a lower basin in a floating manner, which lower basin preferably can be filled with water by means of a first supply line and is designed as a lake, wherein, in separate circuits, water from the lower basin can be fed to a heat pump by means of a second supply line and coolant passing through the heat exchanger can be fed to the heat pump by means of a third supply line such that energy can be removed from the water of the lower basin by means of the heat exchanger, causing icing of the water of the lower basin, or in the form of sensible heat, and can be conducted to a load in order to discharge heat and/or coldness. |
