PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending strength testing machine capable of accurately performing a bending strength test.SOLUTION: A bending strength testing machine 100 includes: a base 10 including a tabular part 11 like a plane plate and two base-side projections 12 arranged apart from each other on a surface 11a of the tabular part 11 to support a test piece S; a load tool 20 which is located above the base-side projections 12 of the base 10 and includes load tool-side projections 21 located between the two base-side projections 12 during measurement of bending strength of the test piece S; a load tool holding arm 30 which translates the load tool 20 in parallel to a perpendicular direction by an exact rectilinear movement mechanism; load tool holding means 40 which holds the load tool 20 in such a state that the weight of the load tool 20 is not applied to the test piece S before the measurement of bending strength of the test piece S; a load applying part 50 which applies a vertically downward load to the load tool 20; and a load measurement part 60 which measures the load applied to the load tool 20. |
