PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a continuously variable transmission capable of improving shift responsiveness in shift control accompanying switching of torque transmission paths, in the continuously variable transmission having the plurality of torque transmission paths.SOLUTION: In a control device of a continuously variable transmission including a sub-transmission mechanism and transmitting torque of an engine to an output shaft through a first input path or a second input path, when the switching of the input path is determined (YES in S14), a side engaged with an output shaft, of the first and second output engagement mechanisms is released (S18), then a side engaged with an input shaft, of first and second input engagement mechanisms is released (S24), then the side different from the released side of the first and second output engagement mechanisms is engaged with the output shaft (S26), and the side different from the released side of the first and second input engagement mechanisms is engaged with the input shaft (S28). |
