PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion valve capable in which a valve structure can be miniaturized and also leakage of a refrigerant can be reduced.SOLUTION: An electronic expansion valve 10 comprises: an inlet port 50 from which a refrigerant flows; an outlet port 52 out of which the refrigerant flows; a valve chamber 54 provided between the inlet port 50 and the outlet port 52; a valve seat 56 that is arranged in the valve chamber 54, and in which a refrigerant flow passage 64 for flowing the refrigerant flowing into the valve chamber 54 from the inlet port 50 to the outlet port 52 by expanding the refrigerant is formed; a plunger 60 capable of opening/closing the refrigerant flow passage 64 by moving forward and backward in the valve chamber 54; a valve body 61 at a lower part of the plunger; and a case 62 for slidably housing the plunger 60. A groove part 59 for supplying a high-pressure refrigerant is arranged on one or both of a valve seat face 56a and a tip face 60a on a lower face of the valve body 61, so as to restrain a force for pulling down the plunger 60 by a reduction effect of a negative pressure region, and reliably block the refrigerant flow passage 64 by eliminating inclination of the plunger 60. |
