PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine-driven type air conditioning device that enables stable supply of electric power from a generator even in the case where engine speed is reduced beforehand when a clutch is actuated.SOLUTION: An engine-driven type air conditioning device 1 includes a gas engine 10, an air conditioning unit 20, a generator 40, a clutch 28 and a controller 60. In the case where an actuation request of the clutch 28 is input when the generator 40 supplies electric power to electric driven components (during self-supporting operation), before the clutch 28 is actuated, the controller 60 controls the speed of the gas engine 10 and the magnitude of electric power supplied from the generator 40 to an indoor fan 231 and an outdoor fan 241 that are the electric driven components, so that the speed of the gas engine 10 is reduced to clutch actuation speed (1,200 rpm) and the magnitude of the electric power supplied from the generator 40 to the indoor fan 231 and the outdoor fan 241 decreases. |
