PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an observation device which can achieve an optimal viewpoint movement over an entire field of view of a sensor, even if observed by tilting the line-of-sight of the sensor from the vertical direction, and suppress the deterioration of MTF over an entire image.SOLUTION: Taking the distortion of CCD footprint into account, a sensor viewpoint movement is generated such that the movement speed of footprints is different in the front side and the innermost side of the field-of-view of the sensor. An attitude target value is obtained so as to achieve the generated viewpoint movement, and the attitude of the observation device is controlled to follow the target value. Thereby, even when observed by tilting the line-of-sight of the sensor, the MTF degradation can be suppressed at the image edges due to the footprint distortion. |
