PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve noise reduction of an expansion valve which decreases the pressure of refrigerant in a refrigeration cycle and controls the flow rate of the refrigerant.SOLUTION: A valve body 10 of an expansion valve includes an inlet port into which refrigerant in high pressure is delivered, and an outlet port. In a valve chamber, a valve body is provided for controlling the opening in a valve seat. In the outlet port, a flow adjusting plate 100 is fixed which has small holes 120 in an upper half thereof and a half-arc shaped opening 110 in a lower half, and adjusts flow of refrigerant outflowing to an evaporator side to reduce noise caused by burst of bubbles. |
