The method involves gluing a function or design unit (5) e.g. retaining console with a hob plate e.g. glass ceramic plate, by using a heat-resistant adhesive (11) e.g. silicone adhesive, where the unit (5) is provided for fastening the hob plate to a hob-base. A fast-setting adhesive (13) e.g. hot-melt adhesive, is inserted adjacent to the heat-resistant adhesive for positionally securing the unit (5) in its mounting position during a hardening phase of the heat-resistant adhesive. A form barrier is integrated into a contact surface of the unit (5) as a single piece. An independent claim is also included for a hob comprising a hob plate guided to a function or design unit. |
