PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly adjust an output voltage according to load variation in a high voltage power supply that does not use a transformer.SOLUTION: A high voltage power supply includes: a switching element; a voltage resonance circuit constituted by an inductor and capacitor to which voltage is applied in response to the driving of the switching element; and a rectification circuit constituted by a capacitor and diode which output a high voltage according to the resonance operation of the voltage resonance circuit. The high voltage power supply variably controls a drive frequency of the switching element according to an output from the rectification circuit and a control signal for setting an output voltage. |
