PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that difference may occur in the range of application, when a superposition system is set by specifying an encoder, and that the operation is complicated to reduce the convenience of a user, when the user sets all setting items so that the difference does not occur.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus has imaging means, encoding means for encoding a captured image, receiving means for receiving the information about the superposition setting of the imaging apparatus, and superposition means performing superposition, specified by the information about superposition setting, for a captured image to which an encoding method same as that specified by the information about superposition setting received by the receiving means is applied, but different from the captured image specified by the information about superposition setting. |
