PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water closet capable of surely discharging small dirt and floating system dirt, by smoothing a flow in a drainage line.SOLUTION: The water closet 1 by the present invention comprises a bowl part 8 having a dirt receiving surface 16, a rim part 18 and a recessed part 20, a water discharge part 22 for forming a swirling flow of swirling along an inner peripheral surface of the rim part by discharging wash water forward and the drainage line 12 for discharging the dirt, and the recessed part of the bowl part comprises a bottom surface 36 positioned under a puddle water level W and a wall surface 38 for connecting this bottom surface and a lower edge part of the dirt receiving surface, and the bottom surface of the recessed part comprises a front side bottom surface 40 formed in a front side area and a rear side bottom surface 42 formed in a rear side area, and the wash water discharged from the water discharge part forms a main flow M1 of flowing toward an inlet of the drainage line from the front side of the bowl part, and a part of the main flow also collides with the rear side area, and a part of this collided main flow is guided to a front area in the drainage line. |
